probably one of the most underrated countries in central/south-east europe. slovenia has a unique history being at the crossroads of europe and having neighbors like italy, austria and hungary. slovenia is filled with mountains and lakes that make it stunning in the winter (when i visited). enjoy some photos of the backcountry and the capital, ljubljana.
